We can perform traditional or choreographed Highland displays, audience participation and Ceilidh calling. The History of Ballochleam
The Ballochleam Dance Troupe was formed originally by Gillian Whitelaw and is now organised by Emma Walker and Sarah Lamont, former pupils for 20 years of the Gillian Whitelaw School of Dance and experienced performer in Highland Dancing. Over the years Gillian built the dance troupe to the highest standard and led them to go on and perform throughout the world at festivals and events at home. Some of the troupes claims to fame include dancing at Sting's 40th Birthday Party, Ant and Dec's Takeaway and the Jeremy Kyle Show. |
